BRTOOLS: Enable/Disable Tablespace Autoextend

1. Execute command brtools. Select option 2 – Space management.
BR*Tools main menu
 1 = Instance management
 2 - Space management
 3 - Segment management
 4 - Backup and database copy
 5 - Restore and recovery
 6 - Check and verification
 7 - Database statistics
 8 - Additional functions
 9 - Exit program
2. Select option 5 – Alter data file.
Database space management
 1 = Extend tablespace
 2 - Create tablespace
 3 - Drop tablespace
 4 - Alter tablespace
 5 - Alter data file
 6 - Move data file
 7 - Additional space functions
 8 - Reset program status
3. You can select option 4 – Tablespace names (tablespace) to enable or disable specific tablespace. Press ‘c‘ to continue the execution.

BRSPACE options for alter tablespace
 1 - BRSPACE profile (profile) ........ [initTR3.sap]
 2 - Database user/password (user) .... [/]
 3 ~ Alter tablespace action (action) . []
 4 ~ Tablespace names (tablespace) .... []
 5 - Confirmation mode (confirm) ...... [yes]
 6 - Scrolling line count (scroll) .... [20]
 7 - Message language (language) ...... [E]
 8 - BRSPACE command line (command) ... [-p initTR3.sap -s 20 -l E -f tsalter]
4. Next, select option 3 – Turn on and maintain autoextend & select option 4 – Turn off autoextend.
Alter data file main menu
 1 - Set data file online
 2 - Set data file offline
 3 - Turn on and maintain autoextend
 4 - Turn off autoextend
 5 - Resize data file
 6 - Rename data file
 7 - Drop empty data file
 8 - Show data files
 9 - Show tablespaces
10 - Show disk volumes
11 * Exit program
12 - Reset program status
